Information Explosion
You've heard of Information Overload - but what about Information Explosion?
I've been spending the last few days reading... and reading a lot of websites/blogs (I'm currently doing some research). One thing dawned upon me - the Internet has allowed an information explosion to take place - plenty of information scattered here and there.
Here's the funny part: Lots of people hoping to make some money from blogging, sticking Adsense all over their page (the ones who do this on a free site are more ridiculous, I can understand a person on a paid site doing this to support their hosting expense) - each one hoping that his / her post is one that will rake in millions of page views, hoping that thousands of readers will subscribe to receive more crap, hoping for hundreds of comments to pour in on some mediocre rehashed post, hoping that he / she will be able to write a book that will shoot them to fame and fortune.
Ok, I'm being skeptical - but you have to admit, there are some real good free posts out there. People who have a real passion to blog, share their knowledge, information, experience etc. They deserve to be paid. No, scratch that. They will be paid handsomely. They are already successful. Are you one of them? Are you already charging for your content... or just happy to give it away for free!
