Barriers to Entry
If you were to ask any VC - what is the most important thing they'd look out for when identifying a great company? If he's worth his salt, he'd say - "Barriers To Entry". What makes it so difficult for other's to enter what you're doing. What's your forte? Can someone else copy what you're doing, and do it better? (Forget patents... they're only good for you to a certain extent.)
